Steps
- List the U.S. schools and how each wants records (upload portal, e-mail from the school, or sealed paper copies).
- Fill in the template and send it to the registrar or homeroom teacher.
- Ask for an English version or a certified translation, plus the grading scale.
- Confirm with each U.S. school that the records arrived.
U.S. boarding schools read transcripts closely and usually want two to three years of grades plus the current year. Records that come directly from the school (or in a sealed envelope) count as official.
This is a USAnaru™ original template; adapt it to your school's customs.
Common mistakes
- Asking too late — offices can be slow near holidays.
- Sending records without the grading scale.
- Forgetting the current year's mid-year grades.
Questions
