What is not shown: which agent works with which school or sponsor. Those business ties are not published by any official source, so we do not guess them. Organizations can add confirmed partner schools on USAnaru™.

Frequently asked questions

What does the network map show?

Who is connected in U.S. boarding education: the official lists and associations (State Department J-1 sponsors, CSIET, SEVP, TABS, NAIS, NCGS, AMCS, AIRC), the exchange and program organizations, the boarding schools, AIRC-certified recruitment agencies and the countries they work in.

Where does each connection come from?

Every line has a public, official source, shown with its date when you click a dot: the State Department J-1 sponsor list, the CSIET certified F-1 program list, the SEVP certified-school list, school association membership reported in the NCES Private School Survey, and AIRC's certified agencies by country.

Why can't I see which agent works with which school?

No official source publishes those business ties, and very few schools list their agents. We do not guess. A link appears only when a school publishes it or an organization adds a partner school on USAnaru™ and our staff confirm it.

Which agencies are shown?

Agencies come from public member lists that allow reuse: AIRC (American International Recruitment Council) certified agencies by country — only those certified through this year or later — JAOS (Japan Association of Overseas Studies) full members and KIEA (Korea International Education Association) certified members. Directories that block automated collection, such as ICEF's, are not copied. More countries' official lists are added as we find them.

Does being on the map mean USAnaru™ recommends them?

No. The map only shows facts from public lists. It is not an endorsement or a ranking, and payments or ads never change it. Always check an organization yourself before you sign anything.

How often is it updated?

Automatically: the State Department, SEVP and AIRC lists are re-read every week or month, school data every month, and the page is rebuilt every 10 minutes. The same data is open in the API (/api/v1/network).
