USAnaru™ for developers
U.S. boarding-school data with sources, as a JSON API and an MCP server — free for non-commercial projects.
School, F-1 (SEVP), documents, tests and news endpoints, each fact with its source and date.
Commercial use only with a separate written license — ask us by message.
What we do not do
We introduce and inform. We are not an agent, a J-1 sponsor, an F-1 program organization, a school or a visa adviser.
We do not apply to schools for you, issue Forms I-20 or DS-2019, run host families, or guarantee admission or a visa.
We never publish information about individual students or families.
What you register
Project name, what you will build, your country, and your agreement to the data terms.
How we use this information: We keep your email address, the settings you add and a record of what you agreed to, to run your account. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Privacy Policy
How verification works
Your email address is enough. Keys can be revoked if the terms are broken.
Terms for this role
When you add this role, you accept the terms for it in addition to the terms for everyone. Read the terms for this role →
How to start
Sign in or sign up with your email (a one-time link) or Google.
An API key with higher limits than anonymous use. School, F-1 (SEVP), documents, tests and news endpoints, each fact with its source and date. Commercial use only with a separate written license — ask us by message.
What do I fill in for the Developer role?
Project name, what you will build, your country, and your agreement to the data terms.
How is the Developer role checked?
Your email address is enough. Keys can be revoked if the terms are broken.
What are my responsibilities as Developer?
Non-commercial use only, with “Source: USAnaru™” and a link wherever the data appears. No commercial use — paid products, services, apps, websites, datasets or AI products, resale or redistribution — and no competing school directory, without a separate written commercial license from USAnaru™. No bulk copying or scraping; stay within your key's limits. Keys are personal and must not be shared. USAnaru™ may revoke a key at any time if these terms are broken, and may seek damages for unlicensed commercial use.
How do I choose a role after I sign up?
Open My roles (Account › My roles), pick the role that fits you — student, parent, school staff, study-abroad agent, U.S. guardian service, or exchange program organization — fill in the short form and accept the terms for that role. Each account has one role.
Can I have more than one role?
No. Each USAnaru™ account has one role, so nothing gets mixed up — messages, tasks and checks all belong to that role. For another role, sign up with another email. A student and a parent each have their own account and link them from My family.
